How to complain
Before you submit a complaint, you should contact the company, organisation, person, or authority that you believe is processing your personal data contrary to data protection rules.
If you wish to submit a complaint to the Danish Data Protection Agency, we recommend that you use our complaint form. You can use the form by logging in with MitID and filling out the form. When you use the form, you will be provided with the information necessary for us to handle your complaint.
Fill out the complaint form and send it
Alternative ways to complain
If you don’t have MitID, or for any other reason cannot or do not wish to use the complaint form, you can use one of our other contact options to make a complaint. Contact the Danish Data Protection Agency.
The minimum information required by the Danish Data Protection Agency to process your complaint is your name and address. As a rule, the Danish Data Protection Agency does not process anonymous complaints.
The Danish Data Protection Agency does not accept files with file extensions (fx .exe, .zip or .rar, or files containing audio or video sequences). The Agency is also unable to download files from external links or receive files that have been sent on USB memory sticks.
Complaint on behalf of someone else
If you wish to have another person represent you and complain on your behalf, you can fill out a power of attorney by uploading or send it to us. You can use this form or e.g. write a power of attorney by hand and scan it.
